  11. Continuous Operation allows your KBBS to answer the phone, deal
  12. with callers who hangup or logoff, and restart so that the next
  13. caller can logon.  To start KBBS in continuous mode, type:
  14.  
  15.         KHOST  (while in the C:\KISSBBS directory).
  16.  
  17. If you want KBBS to automatically run when you startup your
  18. computer, add this line at the end of your C:\AUTOEXEC.BAT
  19. file:
  20.  
  21.         C:\KISSBBS\KHOST
  22.  
  23. When you want to shut down the continuous operation of KBBS,
  24. logon locally to your KBBS by hitting F1, then from the Main
  25. Menu, select [S]ystem Access by pressing the S key.  From the
  26. System Access Menu, choose [X] for EXIT TO DOS  by pressing X
  27. and answer Y for yes to end your continuous session.

  29. TECHNICAL NOTE:
  30. There are several batch files that automate KBBS.  You should
  31. not change any of the batch files unless you are an expert at
  32. batch files and fully understand how KBBS works (i.e., you've
  33. read this entire manual, understand it, and have been running
  34. KBBS for a while).
